Aug. 20--If Theresa Rowe's life was an exercise video, it would include a lot of highs and lows, plenty of struggle and resistance, and not much downtime. The local fitness instructor has overcome a lot, including loss, single parenthood and open-heart surgery. "I've always tried to take the positive road and not get down," Rowe said recently. She was in one of the exercise studios at the Owensboro Christian Church Recreation Center, a room with lots of mirrors and gleaming wood floors. She teaches nine exercise classes there each week.
