A year's free broadband, with download speeds of up to 8Mb/s, is being offered by broadband provider Virgin.net in conjunction with mobile operator Virgin Mobile.
Customers subscribing to a new GBP15 (usually GBP20) or GBP30 (usually GBP32) SIM-only pay-monthly tariff from Virgin Mobile by 31 October 2006 will be able to register for a year's free broadband through Virgin.net.
