Management at the Radisson Wilshire Plaza Hotel at Wilshire Boulevard and Normandie Avenue is preparing a multimillion-dollar claim against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority for damages resulting from Metro Rail construction.
In addition to a loss of customers due to construction inconvenience, the Radisson Wilshire Plaza's management alleges that Metro Rail tunneling is causing cracking and damaging the physical structure of their recently renovated hotel -- posing accident-related liability risks and leaving parts of the property looking like an earthquake fault.
