Resale shops are not a novelty in Madison, but the goal is to staff the newest operation in the city with only volunteers. This is one thing that makes it unusual.

It also will be smaller than the average thrift store, and therefore more discriminating in its merchandise. All the proceeds from sales will stay in Madison, to benefit one local nonprofit organization in many ways.
