FDA announced that a proposed information collection--i.e., a proposed study of the information, advice, and recommendations health care professionals are providing to pregnant women--has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and was reported in the June 2 Federal Register. (71 Fed. Reg. 32095)
FDA is proposing to conduct a survey of health care professionals to determine what information, advice, and recommendations they are offering to pregnant women about the following topics:
* Methyl mercury and seafood consumption;
* Listeriosis prevention;
* Weight control and nutrition;
