That two-run homer that Torii Hunter hit Sunday in the eighth inning to help the Twins complete a 7-3 victory over the White Sox is just another reason it will be tough not to bring back the best center fielder in baseball, even though his contract calls for $12 million next year or a buyout of $2.5 million. Look for team ownership to make a strong effort to negotiate a reasonable contract with the 31-year-old outfielder, who ranks with the most popular players to ever put on a Twins uniform.
