Durban, Aug 22 (PTI) Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is in South Africa on a two-day trip to hold top-level talks to promote growing economic and business ties between the two countries even as the government here said the visit will provide an opportunity to discuss Tehran's nuclear issue.

"This will give us an important opportunity to discuss the rift between Iran and the G5+1 (Germany) countries over Iran's nuclear energy programme," Aziz Pahad, South Africa's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, told reporters in Pretoria yesterday.
