Florida's judiciary has made several advances and is in good shape but still faces substantial challenges, according to outgoing Supreme Court Chief Justice Barbara Pariente.
"It is my belief as we look back on the first decade of the 21st century, we will see this decade was a defining moment for the Florida court system, the moment we moved into a truly unified state court system," said Pariente, delivering the annual state of the judiciary address to a crowd of more than 500 attending the Bar's Annual Convention's Judicial Luncheon.
