Spanish nutritional products producer Natraceutical, part of the Natra group, says it has acquired French supplement firm Forte Pharma for 82.0 million euros ($104.9 million). The Valencia-headquartered firm said that it plans to finance the purchase through an increase in capital, coupled with a syndicated credit deal. It went on to say that the transaction, which is expected to complete in the second half of the year, would allow it to consolidate its European operations, in its capacity as reference manufacturer for the region's supplements market.
