Article: Mizuno to enter casual wear market, open shops in Tokyo, Osaka.

Aug. 23--OSAKA -- Mizuno Corp., a major Japanese sporting-goods maker, said Wednesday it will enter the casual wear market and set up two casual wear shops, in Tokyo and Osaka, this fall.

Mizuno hopes to increase the number of such specialty shops to 10 in five years and start selling casual wear clothes in 70 shops in China that sell Mizuno products.

Mizuno, which specializes in sportswear and sports gear, will make casual clothes with a touch of sportswear, including T-shirts, warm-up shirts and shoes.
