WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- First Book(R) today announced that their Gulf Coast hurricane relief initiative, Book Relief(TM), will mark the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with a 177,000-book distribution in Hattiesburg, Mississippi the week of August 28. Schools, libraries and nonprofit programs from communities throughout the region will receive new books to replace those lost in the aftermath of the storms that struck the Gulf Coast last fall.
