Aug. 24--ACKLEY -- Treye Blythe was a kid who always had time for his friends. A guy who always brightened his family's day. He was the kind of guy who had a fierce loyalty for those he loved. All those qualities helped fill the sweltering hot Ackley-Geneva-Wellsburg-Steamboat Rock High School gym with many hundreds who came to remember him.
Blythe died Saturday in Cedar Falls, three months after he graduated from high school. Police say he was stabbed in the chest during a party at a house near the Cedar Falls Post Office. At the front of the gym sat eight men in dark suits, none of them old enough to have gained the life ...
