Aug. 24--CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- Darlene Parker doesn't know what she'll do if a county-run health clinic closes. "I don't want no other doctor," she said last month as she waited in an examination room. "I'll probably just give up. I don't want to start all over again."
Parker is one of about 1,700 patients who rely on Primary Care Clinic in Ross County. She also is one of the patients who will have to find a new medical home if the clinic closes as planned in December. "The nurses, they're special," said Parker, 57, who has gone to the clinic for seven years. "They talk to you and feel how you feel." But pending ...
