Aug. 24--The National Right to Life Political Action Committee endorsed Republican Bob Corker for U.S. Senate on Wednesday, while the state affiliate has planned to stay out of the race.
In a news release, Mr. Corker, former Chattanooga mayor, said he is honored to have the national organization's backing. "Like most Tennesseans, I am pro-life, and I want to see our commonsense values reflected in the United States Senate by strongly and consistently promoting a culture of life," he said.
