Pretoria: James Kamte, hoping to sweeten his third Sunshine Tour season with a maiden win, displayed his growing potential once again when he tied for the first round lead in the R330 000 Telkom PGA Pro-Am yesterday.
The rising star put on a polished performance at the par-72 Centurion Country Club layout, knocking in six birdies and an eagle-3 against three drops to tie Pretoria's Kevin Stone and Desvonde Botes for the lead at five-under-par 67.
