ST. LOUIS _ When you've taken care to protect yourself from sun damage this summer, you may have missed a spot.
What about your eyes?
It's the time of year when doctors urge people to wear sunglasses that guard against ultraviolet rays. The reason: cataracts.
While scientists haven't found a direct link between UV rays and cataracts, they're pretty sure too much glaring sun, in league with other effects _ heredity, disease, injury, overexposure to elements _ can bring on cataracts sooner and more severely than usual.
