WHEN it comes to party invitations, most people are no more prescriptive than "bring a bottle" and RSVP.
But Lucy Gao was leaving nothing to chance when she set about organising her own 21st birthday party.
The trainee at Citigroup in Canary Wharf emailed her guests on how to behave, down to the smallest detail.
Not only did she tell them to dress smartly, she also allotted a time of arrival to each - within a narrow 15-minute slot; outlined how they must introduce themselves at the door and informed them she would be receiving presents at a certain time.
