Blackwater Security Consulting took a hit in court Thursday, losing its bid to have a landmark lawsuit moved from a North Carolina state court to federal court.
The lawsuit was filed by relatives of four Blackwater contractors ambushed and killed in Fallujah, Iraq, on March 31, 2004. The families say the Moyock -based company sent the men on the mission unprepared, undermanned and ill-equipped.
