Aug. 28--Last week's disclosure that U.S. Rep. Danny Davis visited Sri Lanka in 2005 turned a local spotlight on the island nation's recent history of violence and raised questions about why exactly he went there. The man representing Illinois' 7th Congressional District said he went to the nation south of India to see how reconstruction and aid money was being distributed after the 2004 tsunami at the behest of his constituents. But the community that prompted that weeklong trip appears to be a small one.
