The consumer information firm Acxiom Corp. has generated a barrage of news recently including quarterly results, deals with two major firms, and a $300 million stock repurchase plan as part of an apparently agreeable solution to a disagreement with its largest shareholder. Little Rock, Ark.-based Acxiom reported fiscal 2007 first quarter consolidated net earnings of $17.8 million, a 186% increase from the same period a year ago.
