SHE WAS the City trainee whose leaked email party invitation instructing guests exactly when to arrive, telling them to dress smartly, and informing them when she would be receiving presents - embarrassed her and her bank.
But Lucy Gao, who left nothing to chance when she organised her 21st birthday party at the Ritz, has apologised for the fuss created by the email, sent from her desk at Citigroup in Canary Wharf.
The invitation - which told guests not to wear flip-flops or denim - quickly made headlines after astonished colleagues forwarded the email to friends at other City firms.
