Aug. 30--PROVO -- If bioterrorists ever strike Utah County, residents should head straight to church -- not necessarily to pray, but to seek medical attention.
On Tuesday, Utah County commissioners inked an agreement with the LDS Church to use church buildings as crisis-care locations during a public health emergency.
The deal allows county health officials to staff church meetinghouses to administer vaccines or offer other medical aid in the event of an anthrax outbreak, influenza pandemic or other health crisis.
