Aug. 30--LIMA -- Commissioner Greg Sneary will unveil his plans for generating Civic Center revenue in a week, and in the meantime voted Tuesday against spending county funds for increased utility bills at the downtown facility. While $230,000 was estimated for utilities costs at Veterans Memorial Civic Center, the fund had dwindled to $9,900, Allen County Administrator Becky Saine said. Commissioners voted 2-1 Tuesday to appropriate an additional $90,000 to the fund.
