Aug. 30--Aileen Hurley of Decatur doesn't plan to miss the 2006 Taste of Home Cooking School in the Decatur Civic Center.
"I attend every one they have," said the former home economics teacher. Hurley taught 15 out of her 26 years in Illiopolis before her retirement.
"(The ticket) is the best $10 they could spend. I think it's a very good, entertaining program.
"It's educational, too."
Perhaps one of the reasons Hurley is so hooked on the schools is because during 2004's event, she came away a prize winner.
