Location: Bainbridge Island, along Rich Passage, 6 miles southwest of Highway 305 on Pleasant Beach Road.
Covering 137 acres of dense forest and underbrush, Fort Ward State Park is an area full of natural beauty. Impressive views of Rich Passage, the Olympic Mountains, and varied marine wildlife can be seen at the park. Common activities here include: boating, fishing, picnicking, jogging and bicycling. Clam digging, bird watching, and scuba diving are other favorite pursuits.
