The first meeting of the newly formed AMA Road Race Rules Committee was held July 13 at AMA headquarters in Pickerington, Ohio. The meeting covered a variety of issues related to the AMA Super-bike Championship.
AMA Pro Racing is the leading sanctioning body for motorcycle sport in the United States. Earlier this year, the AMA and AMA Pro Racing announced a reorganization specifically designed to improve the rules-making process.
