Sep. 1--For Rev. John Moulder, prayer often needs no words. It can be the bebop and blues that hover in the silver haze of a nightclub. It can be the soul-stirring melodies that scream from the strings of his electric guitar. Or it can be a nearly hourlong concert composed for a nine-piece jazz ensemble. A Roman Catholic priest as well as a jazz musician, Moulder will open the annual Chicago Jazz Festival in Grant Park on Friday with his first original concert--a 55-minute jazz suite titled "Trinity."
