Sep. 1--A Fort Wayne company filed suit Tuesday in Allen Superior Court seeking more than $90,000 from John and Joe Hilger, owners of Hilger Brothers Farm Partnership, which owns and operates Hilgers Farm and Hilgers Farm Restaurant.
Less than four months ago, Vincent P. Tippmann filed foreclosure paperwork that said the partnership owes him more than $1 million he loaned it during the course of a year.
Joe Hilger said he was unaware of the new complaint, and that neither he nor his brother had been served with anything pertaining to it. When told details of the suit, Hilger said he and his brother had talked to private ...
