Considering this restaurant is called Green Door, we half expected the CD system to blast out the music of '80s legend Shakin' Stevens - yes, the pop star who sounded as though it was highly inadvisable to stand near him in the gents...
However, we were welcomed by the sounds of a modern beat combo called Crowded House (I'm told).
Ironic, really, as the restaurant - even for 4.30pm on a Monday afternoon - was totally dead.
Not that we were complaining. A bit of peace is what we needed after spending a couple of hours ...
