COUNCIL hygiene inspectors uncovered mouse or rat infestation and dirt at a string of North Wales schools, according to newly-released documents.
Droppings, flies and cobwebs were among some of the unsavoury discoveries at schools from Anglesey to Wrexham from the past year's inspection.
The findings were unearthed in hygiene inspection reports released under the Freedom of Information Act.
Most, if not all, of the problems have now been put right as the new school term is about to start.
