Believe it or not, but at this very moment, I'm reading the article, "One Family's Struggle With Sickle Cell Disease" (July 2006). At this very moment, my daughter is in the hospital having a very bad crisis, and I want to thank you for writing that story. I understand what the Simpson family is going through. My prayers are with them. Many people aren't familiar with this disease, and I'm sure your article will, indeed, enlighten them.
