When Alan Burks found a new career as president of Henry Jacobson and Mulberry Neckwear, he also discovered the casual California lifestyle. Of course, the former Haggar executive spends most of his time visiting retailers nationwide as the frontman for Mulberry, the country's third-largest neckwear maker, and Jacobson, the designer/entrepreneur whom he jokingly calls "an industry secret."
