BEIJING -- Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB), announced today that China Central Television (CCTV) purchased two Dolby(R) Digital Cinema systems to use in CCTV's new state-of-the-art screening rooms. CCTV plans to host internal corporate events in its screening rooms, as well as offer tickets for public movie and event presentations.
To date, there are more than 160 Dolby Digital Cinema systems installed worldwide, including North America, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, and the UK.
