The International Finance Corp. (IFC) has urged the Philippines to implement more reforms in its investment climate if it is to become a more competitive place to do business.
"IFC is looking forward to providing support to the government of the Philippines and other stakeholders to help institute reform in areas that will help improve the business environment and foster economic growth," said Vipul Bhagat, country manager for IFC in the Philippines and Thailand.
"As one of the key investors in the country, the business climate directly affects our ability to mobilize greater investments," Bhagat added.
