If the international community fails to stop the genocide in Darfur, then world leaders should never again recite the post-Holocaust pledge of "Never again."
Three years after the killing began in Sudan's war-torn western region, the death count continues to rise.
As many as 400,000 civilians, members of three African tribes that have understandably resisted the oppressive regime in Khartoum, have been killed. Another 2.5 million Darfuris, whose villages have been systematically destroyed, have fled to refugee camps where they continue to die from disease, starvation and attacks by government-sponsored militias.
