The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria have affiliated their heart surgery programs.
The affiliation culminates nearly a year of discussions between the two hospitals. Under the arrangement, the Clinic will staff two full-time cardiovascular surgeons and two physician assistants at EMH. EMH has two of its own heart surgeons, Drs. Michael S. Mikhail and Alex Zolli.
