Leadership styles take on many forms depending on the circumstances of a given situation. They may be "maintenance" styles geared toward keeping an already efficiently operating facility or organization on the right track. Or they may be more dramatic in their scope, as was the case in an experience I had with the introduction of Col. Don Taylor into a floundering Mississippi Youth Services system in the early 1990s.
