WOMEN who are delaying motherhood should freeze their eggs in their 30s before they leave it too late, a fertility expert will say today.
Dr Gillian Lockwood, director of a fertility clinic, will tell a conference that the Bridget Jones generation should consider putting their eggs 'on ice' before their best childbearing years pass them by.
She says that, as more and more women postpone motherhood until their 40s, encouraging them to freeze their eggs in their 30s is preferable to telling them later that they have missed the boat.
