Young Worcestershire wicket keeper Steven Davies has already proved what an outstanding cricketer he is by rattling up 1,000 runs in his first full season.
Just a day after completing that feat, Davies took a timely opportunity to prove he's no slouch behind the timbers either.
The six catches he took yesterday afternoon against Leicestershire were still two short of the world record-equalling eight claimed by his immediate Worcestershire predecessor Jamie Pipe in the C&G Trophy against Hertfordshire five years ago. ...
