It's do or die for Grade 11s this year.(News)

All Grade 11 pupils need to pass the end of year examinations to avoid having to be re-educated on the new National Curriculum Statement (NCS), which was introduced in all Grade 10 classes this year.

The department has put mechanisms in place for those Grade 11 pupils who might fail this year, to catch up with the work that the Grade 10 pupils are currently doing, according to the deputy director-general for the Department of Education, Penny Vinjevold.
