Sep. 10--Southern Illinois University President Glenn Poshard appointed a three-member panel Friday to investigate the latest plagiarism allegation against university administrators.
The panel will review similarities between the documents used to support the Carbondale campus' strategic plan, "Southern at 150: Building Excellence through Commitment," and those for Texas A&M University's long-range plan, "Vision 2020," an issue first reported Friday by The Chronicle of Higher Education.
The plans are lengthy, but passages in some of the supporting documents are the same. The two plans have nearly the same list of "critical ...
