Sep. 10--RADFORD -- Earlier this week, NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series officials crunched some pretty important numbers for Philip Morris these days.
They found he needed an average finish of 2.66 over the last three points races at Motor Mile Speedway to win the region title and thereby become eligible for the national championship -- an honor that's twice eluded him by tiny margins.
Morris took a big step toward that distinction and the equally crucial track championship in front of a packed grandstand Saturday night.
