THE full extent of the damage inflicted on Labour by a week of vicious infighting is revealed today in a poll showing the party at its lowest ebb since Tony Blair became leader.

An exclusive survey for The Mail on Sunday, conducted since the destructive war of words erupted, reveals Mr Blair's party is more unpopular than at any time in the past 15 years.

The Tories, on 40 per cent, now lead by ten points. Labour's 30 per cent is their lowest share of the popular vote since before Black Wednesday in 1992 - the financial shock that destroyed the credibility of John Major's Tory administration.
