Expansion plans of USD 286 million announced
Chennai, Sept 10 (PTI) SPEL Semiconductor Ltd, an IC assembly and test facility, today announced expansion plans to the tune of USD 286 million in the next five years.
Addressing a press conference at the SPEL facility at Maramalai Nagar on the outskirs of Chennai, A R Arun, company Vice Chairman said that they already has a 22 acre facility of which its Export Oriented Unit (EOU) was in four acres. The company would acquire an additional seven acres near the facility, he said.
