Builder Kathy Kotz combines practicality with style in her Charleston model home at the Parade of Homes 2006, in the Crossings development, Cicero.
"I try to build how people live," said Kotz, who has been in the building profession for 40 years and struck out on her own in 1993.
"I tried to use every available space," said Kotz, who built bookshelves under an open staircase and around a window in the blue music/study.
