STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept.

10, 2006--GE Money, the global consumer lending unit of General Electric Company, announced today the appointment of Mike Cutter to president and CEO of GE Money -- Australia & New Zealand.

Cutter succeeds Thomas C.

Gentile, who was recently appointed as SVP Global Marketing for GE Money.

Cutter will report directly to David R. Nissen, president and CEO of GE Money.

Cutter assumes his new role from GE Money's Australia and New Zealand business, where he has served as Managing Director of GE Money Direct since 2004.
