Location: City limits of Green River.
At an elevation of 4,000 feet, Green River State Park is an oasis on the west bank of the Green River where tall cottonwood trees shade well-manicured lawns. The park is a favorite embarkation point for river trips and is a great base for seeing scenic southeast Utah. Within an hour's drive are Arches and Canyonlands national parks, Dead Horse Point and Goblin Valley state parks, and the San Rafael Reef.
