State officials maintain the proposed O'Hare bypass expressway won't level Bensenville's village hall or gut Elk Grove Village's business strip, but the state's maps continue to say the opposite.
Most recently, Bensenville received notification from the Illinois Department of Transportation last week that showed the bypass will run a little west of York Road, then jut east at Grand Avenue to the Tri-State - the exact same plans first aired and rejected in 2004.
