SAN JOSE, Calif. _ Mark Hurd, chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, finds himself perhaps in the most awkward position among all the figures in the HP boardroom spying drama.
He's in the middle of a debacle involving his bosses _ the board of directors of the storied computer and printer company. And he's also a member of the board that oversees his own performance.
