In its annual report on Finland, Moody's Investors Service says the country's Aaa government bond rating and stable outlook reflect favorable public finance and competitive external positions, social stability, and a relatively high standard of living. "The government has reduced its debt well below the average of its Aaa-rating peers and its annual budget results are still among the best within the advanced industrial countries," said Moody's Vice President Kristin Lindow, lead sovereign analyst for Finland.
